I'm probably making a mistake, but I'm biting the bullet for this. Might wind up setting up an account on this computer just to keep Origin separate from my normal account, though.

Had Origin since before it was Origin, so I'll just be putting up with it like I have been...

I gave it a shot with the Kingdoms of Amalur demo, and while the service itself is fine when it's working, I've heard enough horror stories about EA support and policies that I'm very unhappy with the fact ME3 requires it. Planning on leaving it disabled as much as possible (I belive it needs to be running to play multiplayer, though).

I used it to get Dragon Age - Awakening, and Origins before it was Origin, and it did those things for me.

If I have to keep it on to play, that would be annoying, especially considering the state of my internet connection.
