So I went to the late showing for this movie last night, hoping it to be great. I mean, anything with Downey in it has to be amazing, right?

 

Right indeed. The Avengers was one of the best movies I've seen since the new Star Trek. The comedy was delivered at exactly the right times, all the actors were perfectly in character, and pretty much nothing was overdone. I was never a fan of The Hulk or Captain America, but this movie made me love both and want to watch their respective movies. And Loki was an interesting villain.

 

I'll hopefully be seeing it again with my mom and sister haha.

Although your comparison to Star Trek really gets me excited. If it's that good, then it's pretty much as awesome as everyone's saying. I really hope it is.
