So I was looking at Xaeraz's entry about scary fandoms, particularly what dotcom was talking about how the word "Homestucks" is the worst thing ever, and it got me thinking. They're all pretty dumb, aren't they? Bronies, Trekkies, I can't think of any more. But all those names for different fandoms are pretty silly. And if there was one for us BIONICLE fans (past and present), it would be so unbelievably stupid. So yeah, an observation.

 

I guess BZPers would count, but that's pretty silly too.

Well yeah, but it's just: Homestucks is the dumbest thing ever. It's like calling Bronies or Trekkies "MyLittlePonys" and "Star Treks," or us T/AFOBs "Bionicles." I wouldn't care if we had something silly like "Hussites," but Homestucks? It really is just dumb.

 

Though yes, they all are pretty lame.

Whoops, yeah, forgot to say that I agree, it is so incredibly dumb, just about the worst one they could have come up with.

 

Also I've never identified myself as a Homestuck fan, but an MSPA fan as a whole. Odd.
