Warehouse 13, Alphas, and Rambling! Oh, My!

Jedi Master J.

Hey, folks. I just finished watching both Warehouse 13 & Alphas today. And man, I can't wait until to catch next week's episodes from both those shows, especially from Warehouse 13 since I am really interest in seeing where this season's plot is going. But yeah, I kind of little too early to talk about these episodes and I don't want to spoil anything for anyone by babbling on about them both here.

So instead of doing that, I guess could ask you guys a few things here. Like for one, am I alone here in liking Warehouse 13 & Alphas? They are both good shows in my opinion. Although Warehouse 13 is my favorite of the two.

Hm...And you know after seeing this picture, I kind of really want to try to make some Warehouse 13 related LEGO stuff now because what he is holding looks kind of like the Tesla Gun from Warehouse 13. I don't know. I just think that would be cool. lol I got to organize my bin of LEGO pieces first since at least then I would know where to start.

But anyway, next question is whether or not you guys still want me to do that un-boxing of Mark of Mastery Edition of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Do you guys want me to do that still? I asking because I recalled at least one person saying they would like to see that, so I feel like I might as well.

I'll probably take individual photographs of each AR card in case any of you folks want to get the Dreameaters from those cards (Which I am pretty sure it will work just like it would have if you had the cards yourself. I'll tested it beforehand though, just to be sure for you guys.). Oh, and if you do want the un-boxing, do you want it in a video (As in one uploaded to Vimeo) or just pictures? I am fine with either method really.

Okay, the last question is BrickFair related and that is to put it simply asking for advice about going to it, especially on a visitor day (Which is what my friend and I are doing.). So yeah, any advice would be appreciate since we are both pretty much noobs to whole going to a convention thing. I know already that I am probably going to have a case of nervousness along the way there since it is going to a big new experience for me. That's for sure.

Alright, that's all for today's entry. Thanks for taking the time to read and I hope you all had a good day. Good Night, BZPers.

EDITED: I also liked the new skin for BZPower. :P Thanks, Than the Moa & Watashi Wa for working on it.

Man Warehouse 13 was good tonight, though I am not much on Alphas myself. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Mrs. Fredrick does this season, given her magically appearing(to her) gray hair.

Bah I have to wait until tomorrow to see WH13 online. I did just watch the mini webisode, so that was cool. Glad to hear it's good.

Also Chocolate Frogs and I planned to try to build a mini-fig sized Warehouse for BrickFair this year, but things fell through. But there's always next year, and it would be awesome to have other cool displays too! :D

@MI: lol Yeah, I imagine I was alone in liking Alphas. I am glad to see another Warehouse 13 fan though. And yeah, I am looking forward to that as well. :)

@xccj: Yeah, tonight's episode was a good one. Oh, and thanks for reminding me to check the mini webisode out. lol I forgot all about that.

Sounds like a pretty cool project you guys got going on. Hopefully you guys will get to work on it next year. lol I can't say what I would build would be as nearly as impressive as something you guys have built though.

Beside that, I am probably won't even be going to BrickFair next year since it was mostly by luck and having an awesome friend that I am able to be there for a day this year. *shrugs*

I started both a while ago online but never quite got to finishing either.

However am I the only one who enjoys Alphas a little more then Warehouse 13?

@Toa Onarax: Oh, cool, another Alphas watcher.

Hm...I think the reason I liked Warehouse 13 more is simply because I had a little bit more time to get to know the characters in the series, while Alphas has only been around for two seasons so far. Really it is hard to like one more than the other as they both have things that I like. *shrugs*

By the way, what your favorite character from Alphas? I think mines might be Gary.

Visitor days are pretty busy, and there's no guarantee that all of the registered attendees will be there during the whole day. But all the MOCs will be on display, and I think Brickfilms will be showing constantly during the public hours. Also, vendors will be open the whole time, including custom part makers, minifig resellers, and vendors selling assorted parts. Don't worry about nervousness. During the public hours there'll be plenty of people with even less experience with Lego and conventions than you, including parents struggling with small children. A good way to start would be to make your way to the Bionicle table as soon as you get in; there'll surely be BZPower members who know you there. From there you can meander around the convention floor, checking out the MOCs and vendors. Hopefully I'll run into you while you're there! And maybe if you like the experience, you can become a registered attendee next year!

@Toa Onarax: Ah.

How far did you get into the show? Just curious since you say you did not get to finishing watching either of the shows all the way through yet.

@Lyichir: Thanks for the taking the time to offer me some advice, Lyichir. I don't think what you said though will ease my nervousness since well, that's just part of nature. *shrugs*

But yeah, the Bionicle table would be my first stop there. Although I am kind of confused by what you mean by there being BZPers that know me there since I do not think I am that well known of member here, so a majority of them wouldn't know me.

Plus, it is not like I give off this is "Jedi Master J." aura or something, so I guess I should coordinate something to let people know its me. *shrugs* That's assuming I don't freeze up in place because I am unsure of how to approach people...

As for possibility of meeting me there, I believe we will be coming in around noon something and well, we will probably be sticking around the convention center for most of public hours (Which starts at 11 AM and ends at 4 PM, I believe.) . So if you around during any of those times, you might see us. *shrugs*

Also like I said to xccj about the possibility of me registering as attendee for next year, I personally don't think that it is very likely possibility since the only reason I am to go this time is because I have a friend driving me down. Without my friend involved, I only have mode of transport is taking a bus to get to a train to get to a bus to get to a taxi, which is less than ideal.

Although I guess it is possible that my friend might want to go again with me next year, but I doubt we both can take off work in the same week like that. So ultimately I don't really see it in the cards set before us right now. We will just have to wait and see, I guess.
