Not a good day here.
I've had twin guinea pigs for the past few years, named Salt and Pepper (I usually call them Salty and Peppy). They've been very healthy for years, but now Salty's become Ill. Took her to see some vets, and they found a large tumor in her abdomen. They say she doesn't have much longer to live. Medication or surgery won't help her much either.
Thankfully she's still eating normally, so she clearly has the will to live, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last. I guess I can just hope for the best. If she gets any worse we'll have to put her down though.
Just another thing in my life that falls apart and all I can do it watch. I don't usually share this stuff, but I thought I'd tell you all what's up since I'm not my usual perky self today.
