Dang that's tonight? I'm assuming that

The Chima show will premier at the start of December, like Ninjago did back in December 2011?

Possibly, but I personally doubt it.

If it were going to premiere so soon, they'd probably have already started publicizing it. Even the LEGO Ninjago premiere in December 2011 was promoted in the November-December LEGO Club Magazine, whereas the final magazine this year has no Chima content besides a fold-out teaser image.

I'm sad that the series is winding down. They are not spending nearly enough time on the 2013 setting, considering how much time they spent with the snakes.

Well, keep in mind that the second season (first if you don't count the pilot) had to incorporate a full year's worth of sets and character designs, and the third season only has to incorporate one wave's worth. With that in mind it makes a bit more sense that 2012 sets and characters got a full season of episodes showcasing them and 2013 sets and characters are getting a half a season's worth.

Plus, the show's writers seem (quite wisely) to want to avoid spending too much time in any one setting. Settings are occasionally revisited later on down the road, but spending too much time in one setting can bore viewers. Compare Avatar: The Last Airbender (in which the characters were constantly moving around, and the longest they stayed in one place was probably when they were in Ba Sing Se). Contrast the comic Girl Genius (in which the characters have spent the last five volumes in Mechanicsburg, and most of that time inside Castle Heterodyne).

I'm curious if we might see any two-minute mini-movies next year like there were in late 2012. But overall I'm mostly pleased to see that the story is at least moving towards a definite conclusion, rather than leading up to a cliffhanger like the story for the third year of LEGO Exo-Force.

Actually, there is an episode 26...

I realize that. I said after episode 24, there would only be one episode BEFORE the series finale (Episode 26). 24, 25, 26. I probably could have phrased that a bit more clearly.
