To be fair, Chols, he was turned into a statue before and it didn't last. To try to deal with him now is actually fairly prescient of Celestia, who can often be criticized for not acting on threats until they're at her doorstep.

 

And Bambles, relax. You were worried about Magic Duel too, and that turned out okay. I don't know for sure how this'll turn out, but John DeLancie has expressed regret over some of the weaker Star Trek episodes he's appeared in, so I doubt he'd accept another pony role unless he thought the script was strong.
