So I'm in a Pathfinder campaign

So tomorrow I'll be starting playing in a pirate themed Pathfinder campaign. I'll be playing a mad elven druid who's been stranded on a desert island for the past five hundred gazillion years. (He lost track at about 308). Long enough to go properly crazy and to talk to animals and plants better than he talks to people and stuff.

So should he be a shark druid? Since that's an actual thing you can be. A druid devoted to sharks. Or should he just be an aquatic druid? Or a jungle druid?

We'll be spending most of our time in the open ocean (starts aboard a pirate ship that we've all been pressganged to work aboard), so piranhas would die. But that would be pretty awesome.

I'm thinking a giant sea turtle that's almost as old as he is for reasons of magic that he raised from an egg when he decided to save one of the eggs after he ate all the other ones because he needed protein to keep from starving.

Oh man, I wish they had stats for a mantis shrimp. Or a giant mantis shrimp, oh man, though that'd be so overpowered!

I ended up going with an Archelon (giant extinct sea turtle) named Tibby for the Gamera reference. So far he's been swiming along the ship and my character talks to him constantly, but most of the crew thinks that he's a voice in my head. I'm waiting for just the right moment for him to rise up from the depths and terrify everyone as I scream joyously "Tibby! Ye made it!"

But I did get to catch and butcher a shark on deck, and the guy who gives out the lashings was too confused by my actions to punish me for it. No one else'll eat it, since it just ate one of the crewmembers. Extra rations for me! :D
