Even as a kid, without any Pokemon games, I loved Deoxys and wanted him so badly.

Deoxys is pretty cool, but my favorite will always be Mewtwo. He's pretty much my favorite thing about Pokemon, so of course he's my favorite. I mean, he's a deep thinker with a genuinely tragic personal story, a leader among Pokemon, and he even set up his own laboratory. In the movies his powers include blowing up islands, erasing the memories of hundreds of individuals in the blink of an eye while simultaneously teleporting them, causing hurricanes, causing dozens of Pokemon to fly with him, completely pummeling other psychics, create pokeballs out of thin air (which means creating matter, which means generating a lot of energy), cheat the laws of the Pokemon universe by capturing Pokeballs with Pokeballs, make it so that those Pokeballs are autonomous, put up force fields, and so forth. And I'm pretty sure that if we were talking about the movie version instead of the game version, there would be no way in heck you could catch him with a Masterball.

 

So basically, Batman would realistically lose in a conflict against him, even with prep time. Even with prep time and a Masterball, because people don't have me sold on "But Batman can distract Mewtwo." Mewtwo would be a distraction to Batman. And he's cooler than Batman.
