# WEEE!

Hey, so, looks like I got Premier perks again! It's been some time. Maybe we should get Premier Membership...

So, anyway, I'm not sure what to write yet. I'm writing an exam in Discrete Mathematics tomorrow and another one in Computer Science on Tuesday. I guess I should study for those now instead of writing these lines. Anyway, let's see if anyone actually reads this. Let's make this an "Ask me anything" session! If I get enough comments in my blog entries during this week I may actually consider getting Premier Membership.

Oh man math tests... I do not miss those for sure. I don't even know what discrete mathematics is. But good luck!

And since this is an AMA and I'd be remiss if I didn't ask: Have you ever gone camping? Do you like it? Where's your favorite place to go and be outdoors?

I study math, as you may know. Shortly said, Discrete Mathematics (at least what I did this semester) is mostly about graph theory and counting stuff. Did you know that if the smallest degree of all vertices in a graph is larger or equal to n/2, whereas n is the number of vertices and the degree of a vertex is the number of neighboring (adjacent) vertices, then that graph is Hamiltonian, which means there is a Hamiltonian cycle, which is a cycle that uses all vertices of a graph. A cycle is a closed trail that doesn't repeat vertices except the first and the last which are equal. A trail is a walk that does not repeat edges. A walk is a sequence u1v1u2v2...vn-1un, whereas the u's and v's are alternating and the u's represent vertices and the v's represent edges. ui and ui+1 are incident to the edge vi (a walk is closed if u1 = un), which means that the vertices are endpoint of the edge. So yeah, that's graph theory for ya.

Nope, never been camping, I'm more of an indoors person. Same goes for my brother.

Dear Gatanui,

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Why are you all red and blue?

Do you like green eggs and ham?  Your name of course is Sam-I-Am?

Who is your best friend on the site?

Will you ever mentally break down and run around this site demanding the location of a 2x2 lego brick named Samantha?

Regards,

Totally Not Tekulo

Do you play chess?

Have you ever dreamed of farm animals?

Do you know how to use math to win at poker?

Do you know how to use math to make programming easier?

Which is easier, being a Forum Mentor or a Reporter?

Thanks,

Why did the chicken cross the road?

Because I controlled their minds and told them to do so.

Why are you all red and blue?

Ga = water = blue, Ta = fire = red. As to why Ga and Ta, probably because Tahu and Gali were my brother's and my favourite Toa sets at the time, respectively.

Do you like green eggs and ham? Your name of course is Sam-I-Am?

I do so like green eggs and ham but my name is not Sam-I-Am.

Who is your best friend on the site?

It's probably a bit sad but I don't really talk to (as in, chat with) anyone on this site anymore. :/

Will you ever mentally break down and run around this site demanding the location of a 2x2 lego brick named Samantha?

I was so close to it but then Black Six asked me if I wanted to be a Reporter.

Do you play chess?

Nope. My brother did a bit before but it's been some time.

Have you ever dreamed of farm animals?

I'm not any of Sumiki's relatives.

Do you know how to use math to win at poker?

Since you cannot control the cards you get, I don't think there is a winning strategy.

Do you know how to use math to make programming easier?

I don't think math can actually make the act of programming itself easier somehow...

Which is easier, being a Forum Mentor or a Reporter?

Not sure about easier, but I think Reporter is more fun. Forum Mentor was an awful bore at the end because there was basically nothing left to do. Reporter also feels more rewarding because you get to see your news stories on the front page and receive feedback.

Thanks, guys.
