So... why do people hate the 2DS?

I recently got a 2DS for my brother so that we can play multiplayer Mario Kart 7. I actually like the way the 2DS looks and feels. I have an XL and I wouldn't mind an XL version of the 2DS...CALLED IT! Anyways, the 2DS is really cool and I would really recommend it. All it needs is a mobile version of TF2 with multiplayer. That would be so cool.

People always complain about everything. Just 'cause it doesn't have 3D, it's considered a lame downgrade, although in reality it's a cheap alternative to the 3DS and basically a steal for the people who hate the 3D anyways. I never had a problem with it, but I have yet to use it myself.

People who really "hate" the 2DS have way too much hate in their hearts. Some people are cynical and complain about absolutely anything and everything, really. I don't mind the 2DS, though I wouldn't really ever get one--I'm very obsessive regarding the safety of my screens, which has worked well for me because both of the handhelds I've had (the GBASP and the 3DSXL) have clamshell designs. The screens on a 2DS would just drive me insane with worry.
