Perhaps, but the revelation of the Mask Of Creation makes me lead more towards a continuation.

I hope to god this is a reboot and not a continuation.

I will be so disappointed if it turns out to be a continuation.

A continuation would be the best thing. A reboot will be met with skepticism from me.

If you think your four-year temper tantrum has anything to do with Bionicle returning, you're sadly mistaken.

Hey, um, so no offense, but I imagine you standing in front of a red traffic light, wishing really really hard it went green and the moment it does, you pat yourself on the back. Then you say "Now you stay red until I get to the other side" and when you do, you pat yourself on the back again. I really don't want to crush your party but when you pretend you "aim to keep it back for at least a year and a half" as if you actually had any influence on that, I'm afraid you're giving yourself too much credit.

Target audiences don't cancel out facts.

It doesn't seem likely to be a soft reset - LEGO has always leaned towards rebooting franchises of theirs with little to no continuations of sets. BIONICLE won't be much different.

 

LEGO might care about old fans, but they know there's less of us than there are new potential fans. Fans they'd scare away with a continuation (a soft reset might be possible however unlikely). Few 12 year-olds want to read ten years of backstory.

Sorry, I just don't see it happening.

I do see an Arthaka set eventually coming out though.

This is honestly no different than the kids on the LEGO Message Boards who claim their 20-signature petitions are solely responsible for bringing back BIONICLE. No single person or project had anything at all to do with BIONICLE's return, no matter how great they thought their efforts were. LEGO brought BIONICLE back, not you, and not anyone else.

Lego brought back bionicle when I made a Hero Factory version of Tahu, lego was impressed and wanted to use my idea, and I said on the page that lego was allowed to take my idea and that I wanted bionicle to come back so it did. We did this together because we had unity and duty and destiny and I pray to greg every night.
