What I've come to learn is that you never, ever get excited for a movie until you see the first production still. That article doesn't make it sound like it's a sure deal yet at all.

Fair point. From the sounds of it, it's merely in the "wouldn't it be a cool idea" stage, but at least it sounded like something coming from the studios rather than just the fans. On the other hand, the author confirmed that she hadn't heard anything about it, so maybe it's not even at that stage yet. (All the same, it was trending on Facebook today, so that's gotta say something, right?)

 

Oooh. That'd be...interesting. I didn't know Animorphs was still on the radar of anyone except people who grew up with it. (Though maybe some of those people have entered the Hollywood world and are making connections to put these kinds of suggestions in.)

 

I bet they'll shoot for a trilogy. Part one will have a conclusion to a conflict, part two will be a cliffhanger, and part three will destroy the invasion once and for all.
