I don't know that much about the Angry Birds Franchise. I've never played one of their games, as I've never had a device that had the ability to play those games. But from what I understand, one launches an Angry Bird into obstacles for points, and pigs have something to do with it. (I know I could easily look up more about it, but honestly I just don't feel like it. :P) It sounds like a simple, harmless game that one could play to pass the time. Even though it exploded into a huge brand with toys and other merchandise that I imagine have made a lot of money for the creator of the theme.

 

So I guess it isn't surprising that a movie about the Angry Birds is being released in the summer of 2016. But people still have questions about it. What story would it have? Would it have anything to do with the games? What kind of characters would be in it? Could it actually be a good movie?

 

We won't get those answers until the movie is released. But we do have a trailer now that shows us what we have to look forward to. It doesn't do much for me, because like I said, I don't know much about it. But even I kind of question why this movie is being made, other than to make money.

 

for anyone interested in seeing it. Who knows, maybe this could be a good movie. Or maybe not. We'll find that out next year.

Judging by that trailer, I am leaning very, very far toward the "or maybe not" side.
 

But even I kind of question why this movie is being made, other than to make money.

 

Most movies are made to make money. The difference is that some of them have a lot of creative effort put into them, while others do not.

Um, well, it looks like decent animation so far. Never played the Angry Birds games myself, but I have a feeling that they aren't exactly going to be throwing themselves at the pigs in this movie.

 

 Could be an okay film, or the worst film ever. One of the two.
