I almost forgot this was today. 
Here is some of the info from the Direct and my thoughts on them. Note that I didn't actually watch the video. I'm just talking about the highlights I've read from it and that I found interesting.
1. Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife joins Smash Bros. I admit that I know next to nothing about the Final Fantasy series. It just never really got my interest. However, Cloud looks like he will be a really cool character. Here is the trailer for those interested. I also think that the new stage it shows is cool too.
1.5. More Smash Bros content will be revealed in December. Nintendo will do another Smash Bros. only broadcast sometime next month. No other info on it was revealed.
2. Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow are coming to the 3DS eShop. Aside from wireless trading, they are not going to be any changes made to them. Some newer Pokemon fans who never played them before may be in for a surprise with these games, since they won't have the changes the new games have.
3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is getting an HD Wii U version. Coming out on March 4, 2016, this is obviously a HD version of the game. This is cool, I guess. Especially for those who didn't get the game on the Wii. There will be a Wolf Link amiibo released with the game as well, which you will be able to use with the game. Other unique features will be on this version of the game too, but they weren't revealed.
4. Footage of the Zelda Wii U game was shown. The game is still being released in 2016 as a Wii U title. Sounds like its going to be a lot of fun.
5. The next wave of Animal Crossing amiibos, as well as Lucas's amiibo, will be released on January 22, 2016. I never got into the amiibo craze, but I don't have that much to say on these.
6. Star Fox Zero will available on the Wii U on April 22, 2016. Great news for those waiting for this one.
7. Splatoon will be getting new gear and maps. There will be 40 new gear pieces that should be available as of this blog entry. There will also be two new maps coming to the game. From the source I read, one will be available tomorrow, but I didn't read anything about a release time on the other. Regardless, these sounds like some interesting new additions to the game. Hopefully the players have a lot of fun with them.
8. A Super Mario Maker Portal website is being made. This site will allow players to log in and tag levels that they like. Then when they get on the game, they can see the levels they tagged, making it easier to find stages they want to play. With so many levels already made with this game, I bet this will be helpful for people to find levels they want to play.
9. The Mega Man Legacy Collection will be released on the 3DS on February 23, 2016. Special editions versions of the game will also come with a Gold Mega Man amiibo. I never played a Mega Man game before. This might give me the chance to correct that.
10. Dragon Quest 7 and 8 are coming to the 3DS next year. Like FInal Fantasy, I never played these games. But I still think this is cool for those who are fans of these games.
11. Hyrule Warriors Legends for the 3DS has a release date. The game itself will be out on March 25, 2016. The game is a 3DS version of the Wii U title, obviously, but that wasn't the only pieces of news released about this game. And that info is...
12. The Reveal of the First Female Link, named Linkle. Hyrule Warrior Legends will have the first female version of Link as a new character named Linkle. Pictured here, she wields two cross bows and has a spin kick attack. I will admit I'm not the biggest fan of her name. It just sounds kind of weird to me. I guess Nintendo was trying to keep 'Link' in her name. But who knows? Maybe it will grow on me with time. As for the concept of a female Link, I have no problem with it at all. In fact, I think she looks really cool and hopefully she is a good playable character in the game.
This is all the info from the Nintendo Direct that I found interesting. Feel free to comment on stuff that I didn't mention or if I got anything wrong above. (And knowing me, I probably did get something wrong. )
