Of course it all went differently than expected: at the beginning of the course, the professor came in and asked for 'the three guys of the friday group to come to his office' (not sure if 'guys' is the proper translation in this context, though. maybe "gentlemen" would be better, although that doesn't sound right either. Anyway.)
where they would discuss things. I honestly have no idea what he said to them, but then they came back into the room, and the course proceeded as usual, at least the seminar part of it (after all, it's a combination of seminar+'practical' part).
Later, before we'd go to the labs for the practical part, the professor briefly asked me to his office as well, and told me that they'd promised to do better now.
So... from my point of view it should all be settled now?
