If Tahu was fire, wouldn't he dissipate as soon as someone shipped him and Gali?

Pohatu's set will consist entirely of those boulder pieces, while Onua will be a bunch of BURPs (Big Ugly Rock Pieces). Tahu will be easiest, since they already make a bunch of CCBS flame pieces.

 

Each one will still come with a gold mask tho.

 

Your theory is definitely interesting. But I also had a crazy theory based on someone else's theory that the blended Umarak mask in the new Ekimu set is the Mask of Ultimate Power (which I personally think is unlikely).

But if it was... what if Umarak the Destroyer proved too powerful for the Toa OR Ekimu to defeat, and in desperation, Ekimu donned the Mask of Ultimate Power to defeat him? Its influence could win them the day but could also control him like it did Makuta, and set up Ekimu, not Makuta, as the Big Bad of 2017 (a neat twist that would nicely subvert two years straight of Ekimu saving the day in the end).

Tahu the Embodiment of Fire is sent to a parallel universe, where he finds himself in and old laboratory of Makuta. There he must do battle with a bewildered Toa Vakama, resolving but one of the 30 million unresolved plot points from the previous generation.

Also, the mini-sets would be equipment on their powers, so Tahu would get a flamethrower, Gali would get F.L.U.D.D, Onua would get a shovel, Pohatu would get a bag of pop rocks, Lewa would get a Febreeze, and Kopaka would get Ice Cream.
