But I think it would be more handy to have the silver spikes facing the other way so the wielder can cleanly cut with the bow, or at least flip one of them. Really they're only there because those pieces were the best way to attach the bow arms, which end in a male pin and limit the connection options. The best part IMO is that you have a little place on the bowstring to attach the arrow.A consequence of one chain not being long enough to use on its own But hey, turns out two are the perfect length.
