Nice bow dude! But I think it would be more handy to have the silver spikes facing the other way so the wielder can cleanly cut with the bow, or at least flip one of them. The way they are facing means that the spikes hook into and get stuck in stuff.

The best part IMO is that you have a little place on the bowstring to attach the arrow.

They're more decorative than anything.  Really they're only there because those pieces were the best way to attach the bow arms, which end in a male pin and limit the connection options.
