What "Childish" things do you enjoy?

Here's a question:

"What 'childish' things do you still enjoy doing?"

BZPower is, well, a fan site centered around a children's toy line. This isn't a positive or a negative in any way, it's simply an observation. It made me start to wonder what kind of things that are presumed or stereotyped as being "childish" that you guys still enjoy doing.

Whether it's playing games like "Keep the balloon in the air," or "The floor is lava," or doing some activity such as building a blanket fort or playing video games all day, it makes me curious.

For me, I tend to always do the whole, "Stay within the pattern on the floor," thing when there's tiles or weird designs on the floor. Sometimes if I'm bored I'll even do the whole, "Hand Ninja," thing on the car window, having the Hand Ninja jump over stuff that pass by.

So what about you?

What "Childish" things do you still enjoy doing?

Are we ignoring Lego? We're totally ignoring Lego, yeah?

I find 'childish' a dumb term, 'cuz, y'know, I'm an adult now, I get to decide what grown ups do.

So.

• Coloring.

I ran a coloring club at college. With crayons. And silly pages. Was great.

• Candy.

I mean, duh.

Yep, totally ignoring the obvious LEGO or BIONICLE.

I find the term to be pretty silly as well, I just couldn't think of any other term to really articulate what I was asking. I mainly went with it since it follows the stereotype and it was shorter than saying, "Child-like" (I already had to shorten the title of this entry.

Those are definitely some interesting ones. The coloring club is a pretty neat idea, was everyone given the same pages or was it one of those, "Bring your own."?

Keep the balloon in the air is definitely a fun one.

Other than that, I do stupid group drawings for the Kanohi Force, like my profile of "Venom Snake Ghiddy". Otherwise, uh... That''s pretty much it. I don't consider myself very mature, by any means, but as for specific childish things, that's it.

As my avatar sort of kind of suggests, I love Disney animation. Love a lot of their movies. Love Tangled. It's the most watched movie in my collection. And yeah, I'll go out and buy the merchandise too, if it looks like something I'd enjoy. No shame.

There are a lot of books generally geared to younger audiences, or at least they are books commonly ready by younger audiences. Bridge to Terebithia, The Giver, and Because of Winn-Dixie to name a few.

Bounce houses. Yeah, bounce houses. I got to play in one Freshman year of college and had one heck of a good time. Haven't been in one since, though. Too bad.

Silly pages... or adult coloring book pages?

I may or may not still buy the occasional Lego set, transformer, etc.

I've always found the "childish" thing such a strange concept. I'm an adult and I make enough money to buy expensive things like what I wanted as a kid. Of course I'm going to do that once in a while.

We had a tremendous collection of pages I curated over my years as part of the leadership. We've got 'em all collected in a google drive.

Both. Fun ones for kids, dumb ones for kids, coloring pages for grown ups, 'adult' coloring books, adult coloring books...
