Yep, although usually it's when I'm super tired.

Some friends of mine in band and I actually had a discussion about this around midnight in an ihop we were eating in after a pep band in fall break of 2015 actually-basically we came to that conclusion that it's fairly typical for that to happen when we're extremely tired, especially between about 11:30 and 12:30.

We also managed to creep out and/or confuse the workers there several times probably with some of our shenanigans. =P

That was a very fun day, with a lot of random music we'd played through with a weird instrumentation.

The trick is to seek out these moments before you can fully contemplate the futility of the human struggle, the paradoxical nature of free will, or the fact that you will never be able to fully share the depths of your soul with another human, leaving you with a perpetual sense of loneliness even when you're with other people.
