Well, the long snout made it seem like a dog, but hey, at least a racoon is in the same order. And it actually seems shorter than a dog's skull, come to mention it.

I once a full lower jaw of an elk out in the country. Then I brought it back to my house, and all of it's teeth fell out because it dropped on my deck. >.<

That's awesome. I found a deer jaw under a rock once. That was spooky.

 

This skull is something my grandfather showed us on a visit. Of course, you don't just find this kind of thing lying around in the woods. Let's just say... he "created" it.
