Rocco Posted September 16, 2008 Meh. My Hahli Mahri joint broke in four places, and most of them involved breaking the joint in half in some way. Quote Link to comment
Bitter Cold Posted September 16, 2008 OWNED Because I didn't buy Tanma, I feel as if I am smarter than you on this matter. And here I thought the new (EVIL) joint design was meant to null that effect. Quote Link to comment
Chols Posted September 16, 2008 Lime quality < Purple quality. Lime color < Purple color. Lime stays. Purple goes. -__- -K- Do you have any statistics to back this up? LEGO themselves said Purple was the lowest. Although I never heard of any purple pieces breaking. :/ Quote Link to comment
Spoony Bard Posted September 16, 2008 Lime quality < Purple quality. Lime color < Purple color. Lime stays. Purple goes. -__- -K- Considering they realized they messed up the lime for 07 and fixed the errors immediately. Although I never heard of any purple pieces breaking. :/ Cuz it has nothing to do with plastic quality. -Omi Quote Link to comment

It's a better design, but the plastic quality has been lower in recent years. BtB Quote Link to comment

Ghostie Posted September 16, 2008 I have NEVER had a piece break until these "stronger joints" came out. I've snapped like, 5. Quote Link to comment

Neaku Posted September 16, 2008 I don't see a line being drawn. Also it is all a master plan to get you to buy more sets. Quote Link to comment
Kojol Posted September 16, 2008 My Lime Green Y-Joints from 07 have mostly asploded. So have 4 5' Keetorange Double Socket Joints My part fail> Your part fail. Quote Link to comment
xccj Posted September 16, 2008 To this day I haven't had a lime piece break. BURN THE WITCH! LOL. Anyway, all (like, yes, ALL) my Hahli Mahri's joints broke almost immediately. Ehlek's broke after moderate use, and Tanma's leg cracked after minimal use (not quite broke yet, but that doesn't say much). Lewa Phantoka and mutran are fine, but again, they've only seen minimal use. The message here is that lime green will hate you for a while until the old plastic gets out of the flow. (On the other hand, Pohatu's leg joints broke too, so it's not exclusively a lime problem) Quote Link to comment
