Do you have any statistics to back this up?

Meh. My Hahli Mahri joint broke in four places, and most of them involved breaking the joint in half in some way.

And here I thought the new (EVIL) joint design was meant to null that effect.

My Lime Green Y-Joints from 07 have mostly asploded.

So have 4 5' Keetorange Double Socket Joints

Anyway, all (like, yes, ALL) my Hahli Mahri's joints broke almost immediately. Ehlek's broke after moderate use, and Tanma's leg cracked after minimal use (not quite broke yet, but that doesn't say much). Lewa Phantoka and mutran are fine, but again, they've only seen minimal use.

 

The message here is that lime green will hate you for a while until the old plastic gets out of the flow. (On the other hand, Pohatu's leg joints broke too, so it's not exclusively a lime problem)
