I've seen threads and gotten PMs about the order of the videos on the front of BIONICLE.com. Several people seem to think there's been a mistake in which video is shown when.
No mistake, this is the way it's been planned.
Once all the videos have been released, you will see the narrative that flows from one to the other. The videos tell a story. The CGI is coming from different sources, including commercials and custom-made videos like the Ignika starting the Energy Storm. One of the commercials was split in half, because it fell naturally into two categories - inside the Codrex, and outside. You've seen the inside piece, but not the outside.
But really, some of you have seen the outside. It's in the CGI commercial for the big vehicles.
What's been happening to confuse people, I think, is that several of these videos have been released early or accidentally. If you see them out of order, they're cool, but they don't tell the same story. For example, the CGI commercial of the vehicles first discovers the vehicles, then follows them zooming around the swamp. On BIONICLE.com, the story goes in a slightly different order. Both are "correct".
- Introduce Mistika
- Toa Nuva find Codrex, open it
- Toa Nuva discover cool vehicles inside Codrex, leave Codrex
- Toa Ignika starts energy storm in Codrex
- Toa Nuva must escape from the Codrex on vehicles
- ... and so on
So, I strongly suggest you wait for the full set of videos on BIONICLE.com before making a decision on whether or not they are out of proper order or make sense. Some of them won't make sense until you see them all in order.
And they will definitely be worth watching once you see everything coming up in the next month.
