To Whom It May Concern
The following is a letter I received today from an indeterminate source of both indeterminate gender and indeterminate age, as well as indeterminate location, and indeterminate favourite colour.
To Whom It May Concern,
Ring-ring. This was the dinner bell last night. Seven times it rang and I went to dinner and ate with my family. Was that a timely bell? Maybe. But the right thing to do is to eat at the place I did. But that is wrong. Ring-ring.
I have been trapped in a trunk.
See if you can't send help.
You might want to duck before that man behind you ends your journey before it begins.
Over yonder, beyond the hills for sure, lays a wonderful green orchard.
There, in the orchard, lies the trunk in which I lay, trapped and helpless.
Behind the trunk is a key.
The key is the lock to the trunk in which I lay, trapped and helpless.
Cat and dog chase each other on top of the trunk in which I lay, trapped and helpless.
Statues abound. This is an orchard of statues.
And if you see the trunk, use the man's head to crack it open.
Dead will I be if you don't help me.
Signed,
Loran Ica Belnex
As you can see, I don't know what messages may lie hidden within these words. If you can help me, please do so now.
