What are the types of missions each one recieves?

 

That is up to each individual commander. However, as an example, a Vahki Infiltrator is more likely to spy on a suspected enemy than a Battle Unit, wheras an Enforcer is more likely to be acting in public, assisting new members and enforcing BZPower rules, than an Infiltrator.
