Sorry, EW, but only the redshirts in LOST ever die. Like in the one where they people from the carrier got to the Others' camp and shot the crud out of all the redshirts and no one important. And it's hilarious that, in the past two episodes, the two redshirts that got shot were wearing RED SHIRTS.

Charlie was not a redshirt, neither was Ana Lucia, nor Danielle or Eko, and many others were not, either.

 

Some Ohers, like, say, Tom, were not redshirts, too.
