And yes, there's going to be somebody standing there. I've actually gotten further along on that part... I just hid the layers. =)

 

Eh, it's probably pushing it, but I did try to imitate the patterns on Bionicle parts, and the wall and the floor do "fit together" if you look at the connection.

 

EDIT: And this is why we read! Yeah, off to do some modifications since I think that's stretching it way too much as far as custom goes. Wall sucked anyway. Might be able to get away with the floor and railing.

 

Still to do: the rest of the darned city.

 

And yeah, Le-Metru.

I asked Pohuaki in the topic and he said custom parts beyond one-existing-part-fused-to-another-existing-part were probably a no-go. Warning you before you get too far into this.

 

I'm kinda scrapped for ideas. I'd love to do some playset-style architecture, but Pohuaki also advised against non-standard BIONICLE pieces like System plates and Viking horns in any great number, so yeah. Not sure what I'd have made anyhow. I hope other people's entries can justify this contest, 'cuz otherwise I'm pretty disappointed in how awesome this could have been but wasn't.

 

EDIT: And just read your edit. Good luck trying to amend this without compromising the awesome.
