Some sort of... tool of destruction?

Seriously though, is it something you use to floss, maybe? That's pretty weird looking.

Yeah, those are for flossing. Although you really shouldn't floss your teeth with it if you don't know where it's been.

Oh, it was in a sealed box. I just don't know where to get more, which I need to do since they're not exactly reusable.

Actually, you can buy reusable ones. The handle is solid and stores the floss. After each use, you throw away the used floss and spin out a new strand, which you then secure across the prongs. They're pretty handy.

We had something very similar to this. You can see the hole the floss comes through from the handle and the small blade used to cut off old floss.
