Just pop it in for 3 minutes... no special settings or anything.

 

But you know, even then you still have to listen for the end of the popping based on the brand you're cookin'.

I think I melted a piece of toast once.

Put some black powder wrapped in tinfoil in there.

Make a microwave smore, the marshmallow gets REEEALY big, so much that you think it's gonna pop...but it doesn't, you finish microwaving it, and enjoy a tasty smore.
