I Need A New Mag Lite

So as I take out my Mini MagLite flashlight on Friday night on my retreat/Catholic Leadership workshop, I realize it is not working properly (it stays on and the IQ switch isn't changing brightness). So I unscrew the top but that doesn't help, so I unscrew the bottom and try to take the batteries out. Ah, well there you go--the batteries have corroded. One comes out (and immediately goes into the trash) but the other will not. And even if it did I wouldn't know what kind of damage was done and if it was salvageable.

So I guess I'm asking for a new one for Christmas. I'll be able to live until then, but I really would like to have another, even if I don't go camping anymore (but I want to!). It's a very dependable flashlight company.

This one is red, but maybe I'll ask for my new one to be silver or teal/turquoise. But I've had the red one since 2001.

My bro did a lot of research into good flashlights, so I have one I could recommend. Takes Lithium though, which are supposed to explode sometimes. :P

You failed to tell me what flashlight what was...

However, I think I can safely stick with MagLite and not think twice. They're great. (Plus I can add on my LED parts I've bought for it.)

Also, I love putting Lithium batteries into MagLites because then they're so much lighter.

I'm also a fan of Maglite. Some how I have two mini Maglites, one black and one silver.

I won't get a flash light that requires Lithium batteries, I have a camera that requires then and they're not cheap.
