Edit: By "remake" I meant revamp. As in, build MOCs of them.

Sorting stinks, but the end results are very satisfying. Get a new set or something, that always motivates me.

No really I should take a picture of my miscellaneous Lego containers/sheets/canisters. It's still about 1/3rd sorted by color, but I want to re-sort it all by piece type. It's gonna take a long time, my collection is sizable and I am easily distracted, especially when it comes to colorful pieces of plastic.

Sorting takes a while, but it speeds up your MOCing tenfold because you don't waste most of the time on searching for the tiny miscellaneous little bits at the bottom of one giant bin.

 

The only disadvantage is that you have to resort after MOCing, or the sorting will quickly unsort. And you need to have enough containers for different kinds of parts. Ice cream containers work.

No! That was my idea for next summer!! And in comparison your would blow mine out of the water...

 

I actually have a good idea for Granite and using Rahkshi legs... Okay, I guess you should do it.
