It's a bad thing because it goes against all the design features that we've seen previously of the Forerunner. I guess there could have been different groups with different styles, though.

 

The rest of it was good. Also, that Jiralhanae was awesome.

Well, the Delta Halo stuff was "ancient Forerunner" in design, similar to the stuff they found in the Babysitter, I guess. In terms of age. But I suppose the Forerunner had different styles of architecture, different cultures, which would explain the differences.

 

I guess that's a possibility, but seems unlikely. To me, anyway.

 

Still doesn't explain why there were statues/carvings of humans in an ancient Forerunner ruin.

Mahayana Buddhists, to be precise. Which is odd because Buddhism is a relatively recent religion. And Mahayana Buddhism is even never then that.
