This Can't Be!

Lady Kopaka

I just figured out Assassin's Creed II doesn't come out on the PC until March.

My excitement and dreams are crushed.

I also think I got a cold--and I'm falling behind on NaNo and school (again?) because of it!

But it'll be all right, life is still good and gravy. Raia and I are working on a supercoolawesomesauce 'project' for BZP, the Glitch audiobook topic is going to be posted in a few days, and I'm so excited for the week around Thanksgiving. More to be updated on all of that later.

Hope you feel better, and you get caught up with things.

Also, I'm so proud of you, I read the title and was all "oh no not another macadamia entry." So glad it isn't.

Um, I'm probably going to sound very stupid, but what's 'Macadamia'?

Macadamia nuts

Oooh. *facepalm*

...what about them?

I take it you haven't noticed the upsurge of blog entries about B6 not liking them, then =P

I just noticed after hunting in the blogs. Just goes to show how well informed I stay with fads and stuff.

=\ I thought it was obvious.

Then again, I have 2 pages worth of favorited blogs so things like this seem a little more concentrated to me. =P

Buy a 360 like a real gamer.

>implying that everyone can afford new consoles or even wants a new console simply to play a few games

Besides, I have a 360, does that make me a real gamer? =)

PC games still own =D

Anywho I'm sure that time'll pass and you'll have that game in no time :)

And in any case it is just a reason to keep that awesomely epic avatar on display for a little longer :D

That avatar/sig combo is made out of large amounts of win.

Too bad my parents won't let me play it... :(

:k::h:

Stab them in the back with your hidden blades so you can play it! :P

I can't afford it. At all. Hopefully if I can -ever- find a job, but even then I'm getting a PS3.

Yeah my dad honestly does not approve of any games. He pretty much told me to stop playing any fighting and fantasy/sci-fi games--which is like all games. Unless I want to play a Barbie game, or something. I'm nearly a legal adult anyway, so I'm getting it anyway.

Yep...oh well, I'll just keep this banner/avatar combo until March lol.

Oooooh, ouch. That's is almost every game out there, save maybe Wit Fit or something like that...

My parents really don't approve of T rated games, but there are a few they'll let me play. If its under T, I'm definitely allowed to play it.

AC really looks great and I totally want to play it. Guess I'll go see if they'll have it on a PS3 demo thing at Game Stop. That game, Arkham Asylum, Prince of Persia, and Infamous are on my Top Ten "want to play" list.

I noticed in your profile that you're fourteen, so it's understandable that your parents are like that. I only started getting away with T and M games until I was sixteen. My mom is pretty cool with it all because she knows it doesn't affect me, but I still never talk about games around my dad.

Prince of Persia is amazing, if just for the graphics and art. Infamous is awesome too; but I'll have to wait to get that and others until I save up for a PS3. (and after this I've officially decided I'm saving up for one)

Same here, pretty much. The only T-rated stuff I was able to play until I was 14-15 was Star Wars stuff. The first non-Star Wars T-rated game I played was Super Smash Bros. on the Gamecube, ironically. :P It wasn't until late 15 - early 16 that I started to play CoD and similar stuff.

Now, there's one game I think you might enjoy that's available on the PC for a pretty decent price. I don't know how you are with driving games, but you might like Burnout Paradise. :)

Meh, kind of reverse over here. My mom's the one that's skeptical about games, however, my dad was known in college as one of the biggest video game players around. He still plays stuff on my PS2 almost every day. But I'm reeeeeealy unlikely to get away with T or M games now, especially because of my siblings.

I saw screenshots and vids of Prince of Persia at the graphics blew me away. The cel-shading on there is amazing. Infamous I've actually played before and is almost equally awesome.

Super Smash Bros. they actually let me play because the violence was more of a cartoonish/arcade-like violence. My dad also let me play Force Unleashed, which was epic....

I'm not that big on racing games, but I have a friend who's a car fanatic and has a whole load of car games.

Well, just for the record I really understand. But not to make me sound all that old, but when I was fourteen I wasn't allowed either; parents are pretty concerned, but it's good to see their view as well. While I'm not a believer than video games can make you meaner/violent, but they can affect you in some ways just like a really violent or scary movie can.

I tried not to argue about it, obeyed them, and after awhile they became a bit looser, or at least my mom did. In another year or so things should let up, or you'll know who to ask and when to ask to get an advantage. If you push at it in little ways to show you're mature enough and such, they'll come round.

So for Thanksgiving at least think that Assasins Creed II IS coming out... not like Halo Chronicles or the Halo Movie, or that BIONICLE Game that was never released. Plus, the game seems awesome judging from the "Lineage" videos.

the first one is a little iffy with the language when you step out of the animus but the story does have a few good points religous and historical the only thing that is violent is some of the takedown moves like a handblade to the head thats about all i can think of

I guess I will have to wait, then...;)

Good to know it won't be for long...
