To elaborate on this, make him a metalhead - black beard, black clothes (but still Santa's suit), all kinds of crazy piercings, and his bag filled to the brim with Soilwork and Cradle of Filth.

 

And, if you put the Opeth logo or something like that on his shirt/jacket, you'd win the internet. XD

 

...but, if you're taking this seriously, stick with what Miss Bianca said and keep him normal. That'd be the safest route, anyways.
