One Final Proposition

This may or may not be the last entry I will post about Kardiak Arrest. Because I've been doing some thinking about it, and I have some ideas, and I'd like you to vote on which I should pursue in the future.

Idea #1: As originally planned, make a stop motion. This is pretty much out of the question, and my skills are also questionable. Way too long to do.

Idea #2: Make a flash/vector animation series. This would mean I have to go out of my way to find a good flash program, learn how to use it, and probably remodel everything I've ever done in vector. Could take a long time to do.

Idea #3: Make a vector comic. That means no voice acting, but will still have the visuals. Scripts I've completed would have to be altered to remove all references to sound or music. However, it would take considerably less time to complete, and it could be more visually engaging and not look rushed.

Idea #4: Turn it into a comedy. Drastic, but it could work. Script would be altered almost entirely, and would be more in the narrative style than script style. If I get my act together, it could be done by the end of the summer, or very close after that.

Idea #5: Make a sprite comic. The main problem with this is I already have a sprite comic (which is awesome), and 08 sprites are difficult to find. Also it would be a cop out.

Idea #6: Ideas #2-4. That's right, do all of those ideas. Or at least 4 and 2, in that order. 4, 3, 2 otherwise. Could take a while but would be very fulfilling.

Idea #7: It's a pipedream, son. Just give it up, get on with life. Not sure everyone else would be happy with that.

Idea #8 (as suggested by BC): Make a spirte movie. Still would need sprites, and would also take a long time to make. Much easier to animate, though perhaps more tedious to look at.

Idea #9: Podcast. Just audio. That could be...interesting...and it's totally the rage these days!

Idea #10: #3 and #9. That's visuals and audio, everyone is happy! Just...not at the same time.

Idea #11: A semi-animated vector comics. Like how they used to do comics back before 2004, and kinda like they did after 2005. However, addition of sound effects and voices. This could also be inspired by the Mata Nui story going on BIONICLE.com right now. Would probably also need me to get Flash, but could limit the work load, keep sound I want and (possibly) make it more interactive.

So yeah, help me out. Other ideas are appreciated, and I'll add to the list.

All things considered, perhaps the third option would be the best course.

EDIT: Also, since no good '08 sprites actually exist, barring unposeable things like Danska's BIONICLE Builder and the unrecognisable stuff like RZMIK, I'd say nay to option 8.

Yeah, it's possible, though previous sprite movies I've done have been...mreh, at best. Certainly would be easier to animate, though, and could still incorporate all I had before. Though movement would be more restricted...

Anyway, added to list.

Though I like idea 2, that would take a long time to finish, and if I where you I wouldn't bother to do it, as I think it's not worth all the work, so I suggest you go for idea 3. :)

Added another idea to list. Podcast, anyone? No visuals, just audio. I dunno.

Anyway, thanks for your help so far guys, seems like one thing is rearing its head above the rest...

Idea three. Podcast sounds cool too.

*Teehee, totally got the podcast idea from you. Man, one day I may actually read GitS, eheheheh...*

Do a mix of 2 and 3 - kind of like the Bionicle comics on the web, only with sound effects and voices. So semi-animated vector comics.

Not a bad idea at all. Not sure how I'd do it with what I have currently, but that seems like another great idea. I'll add that to the list too.
