So far: two thumbs way way up.

First off, I want to say Thank You Greg, for skipping the whole Teridax-is-his-real-name thing. Makuta is Makuta and he is The Makuta. That's how he started out, and by Mata Nui that's how he's going to end!

Secondly, and more importantly, I loved the "You have nothing, Makuta. You are nothing." aside. I as an ancient fan highly appreciate the nod to MNOG.

Also: I think that, for the first time since D'anda left as the comic artist, I find myself really enjoying the art again. Mhan has succeeded in getting the giant-robot sense of scale right. It's fitting, then, that Bionicle began with great comic art and will end with great comic art.

Also again: does anyone else think that Mhan took a cue from the Mask of Elemental Energy when drawing the prototype synthezoid's face? It would make things all that much sweeter.

Oh yeah, and so far the events match up pretty well with the ideas in the previous blog entry. Who would've guessed?

I agree, it was impressive. A bit rushed, but I understand the need to feature as many new sets as possible. I wonder, though, what this will lead up to-- your layout is one way that yes, nonstop battle can be made varied and exciting for a few more issues. But then, I wonder where we'll leave off: will there be yet another cliffhanger, or a very definite conclusion to make way for the newer, more supplementary story?

Also, Mata Nui offered Makuta a chance, and surprisingly, Makuta made an offer in return. Both were refused, and now there can be a war.

I'm intrigued to know how the golden armor will help, but hopefully it will be something impressive.

I agree Pop Mhan does a great job with this comic, and I also as usual have to compliment Ulises Arreola on his coloring job. That guy hasn't disappointed me yet.

Bah. :P That was actually my least favorite--a little too Darth Vader-ish: "Join me and together we can rule the galaxy. It is your destiny!". But whatever.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw it.

I thought it looked more like the face of a Skrall... but that's just my first impression. There is a little bit of KoEE in there.

What confused me, though, is why it looked totally different than all prior depictions of Roxtus. I understand that from the movie, it seems like Roxtus's mouth was hanging open and had the potential to close. But it still didn't have a very strong resemblance to the prototype's face in the comic, even considering that difference
