What Do You Think About The Ben 10 Sets?

Do you know that feeling you get when you think you don't have enough of a critical piece for a MOC, and then you find out you do?

Like Primus and Laka, I've been building a MOC to work with some of the Ben 10 pieces. I plan on picking up Jetray this week, so I can finish the guy up.

I at least need to get 2 or 3 MOCs out of the set to make it worth the price....

So, what are your opinions on the Ben 10 sets? I know most people don't have them, but I'd like to hear anyway.

Yes, they would have been much better with some more connection points. I also agree with the colors. Purple, sand green, and some other color I forgot about look pretty.

@ Ghost Rider: Can't say I like him to much. It's the grey torso that throws it off for me. That, and the arms.

@ Vaka Nui: :P

At 15 bucks, (which, if you think about it, is basically a dollar for each of the parts) I'd say no, but if you have the money, go for it.

Chances are you could probably find an online store and buy the parts for less overall, though.

As you probably already know, I really like Swampfire.

Just remember that you can do stuff with the connection points. It's just a lot harder. Having t-bars makes it easier. :P

Also @ Dorek, I haven't been able to find any online stores with Ben 10 pieces yet.

I like them. I agree with Primus that they are going to be pretty handy in the long run. The torso, the torso armour, and the limbs should all add some more variety to MOCs.

I hate the hands and feet. The hands can't hold anything. And they have no connection points to allow for even fake holding of things.

Originally I thought it was a horrible idea, but now I'm finally accepting them as part of LEGO. I might get one for the parts.

I really like most of the pieces. I just don't really like the overall lack of connections. Pretty much, if you intend on using them for they're intended purpose, they're good. Try using them in an unintended manner, they're not as good.

Yeah, you can download the instructions on LEGO now. I checked a couple of them out.

Ooh, a Zahktan revamp would look nice.
