Well This Sucks

I just realized I spend at least 3 hours a day imagining myself as an awesome person, full of friends, and causing a lot of positive impact on people.

Then I remember that any unasked niceties become an expected chore and after that I remember people are nasty little monsters.

People are wonderful and beautiful and life is full of love. ^_^

Show me one nice man and I can show you five who will torture and kill that man if it was beneficial enough to them.

Show me five people who can be made to hurt someone, and I'll show you five people who can be made to hug someone.

(SPOILERS: They're they same five people)

PRO TIP: The reason more people are being made to hurt rather than hug is because of excessive negativism. Like the kind this blog entry promoted.

So what do you call it?

I dread the thought of a perfect, free, happy, well fed world. They day that happens is they day that the human race dies.

so everyone would be lil robots in a world run by aliens or something

Okay lets say it's a perfect world. Everyone lives to be 900 years old, there are no wars, everyone has enough food on their table, everyone loves everyone else and no one would ever hurt their fellow man.

Now what? what's left to do?

Actually being happy! Or more specifically, being joyful. Happiness is a conditional thing, a state of mind depending on current circumstances - I'm not happy when I hear a friend has been hurt for instance. Joy, however, is a constant thing within our lives, something that surrounds us always. Most of us just refuse to recognize it.

There's no pretending involved. If you want to be joyful, open your eyes and realize how beautiful life is.

If you think that, then it's rather foolish of you to make snarky complaints about how awful you view people to be. :P

I used to be just as cynical as you appear to be, you know. I was clinically depressed, even. Took a long time for me to realize how much good there is in others. I'm glad I finally did; pretending that life sucks was terrible and stupid.

I never said that I wasn't happy or joyful, I said people suck and just because I think they suck doesn't mean I want them to die, see above post on mine on how the human race would die.
