All these Mass Effect 2 commercials. ;_;

And honestly, is strong language worse than partial nudity? :wacko:

actually i think mass effect 2 has a toned down rating from the last one

Agreed, they're trading nudity for some extra profanity. Though I think that the violence is stronger.

All the same, I'm not allowed to get it until my mom reads some "parental reviews". >_>

Even though I could technically go out and buy the game right now by myself. But since I live in this house and eat this food and use this TV I still must have permission. *sigh*

^Since the internet.

(And actually, sometimes even I use those sites to find out if I should bother with some things.)

I dunno; it honestly does not bother me. I don't mind some extra profanity with certain characters (Subject Zero ftw), but it can get sorta distracting. But the tone is a lot darker...so that makes the scenery feel more gritty and cold. This usually happens for the sequel, and then the third will go back like the first (IMO--that what usually happens).

I don't think it will be that bad--but I do wish you could have a option in the game to remove certain things like profanity/etc for people who don't like it. That's always been my biggest gripes with some games. "Where's the option to turn off all the blood?!"

There is. When I saw it I cheered. Of course, I prefer to keep the blood on, but it was nice that the option was there anyway. I really think game developers should add more filters in games--not like in a cheat for underage people, but just for the fact that people sometimes really find that stuff distracting/annoying. Sorta hard to explain.

Yay for sex and violence.

I hope they keep the lesbian options open for at least some of the chicks, being only able to romance Leliana in Dragon Age was annoying.

Agreed, it doesn't really bother me either. But the only TV in the house is in the living room so I have to respect the wishes of others. =/

Can't you turn off gore and profanity in GoW? Never played it so I don't know, but it seems like you can...

Are you implying Mass Effect doesn't have a good story? For shame.

~Bunda

Implying nothing. I have no idea what Mass Effect is like. Video game Luddite, that's me. Prolly the newest game I've touched is Warcraft III.
