Once again I'd like to welcome everyone, now straight to more business.

The revised one-hundred-ninetieth article proposed by Iro & Toa_Ausar is as follows:

Iro & Toa_Ausar hereby propose that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Tryvehk (TRIGH-veck), the Great Mask of Reflection, which grant the user the ability to create a specific type of force shield that protects them from an opponent's energy or projectile attack and then deflects the attack back at its' source, causing the attacker to be hit with an equal amount of force. Furthermore, the mask power is always on at a low level and therefore it also protects against typical ambush attacks.

For example, a Great Tyvehk can reflect attacks that are fairly standard in terms of energy level, such as a bolt of lightning or common projectiles, however it cannot handle blows of significantly above-average energy levels, and certainly cannot parry massive assaults, such as those involved in a Nova Blast.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The revised one-hundred-ninety-fifth article proposed by Iro & Toa_Ausar is as follows:

Iro & Toa_Ausar hereby propose that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Yyter (IGH-ih-tehr), the Great Mask of Matter State, which allow the user to change the state of matter of any inanimate object that they are in physical contact with, yet the Kanohi cannot affect matter that is, or once was, living, nor can it alter the non-living aspects of a bio-mechanical being. The user can choose between the states of solid, liquid, gas, or plasma, for the target object, however once the mask has been used upon an item, the altered substance can no longer be controlled like a normal, unaltered sample of the same given element.

For example, if a user were in iron chains, then they could use the Kanohi Yyter to turn the solid chains instantly into a liquid metal in order to escape without the need for heating beyond a specific melting point, and the resulting liquid would no longer be Elemental Iron.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-eighteenth article proposed by Koji is as follows:

Koji hereby proposes that within the "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Detyu (DEHT-yoo), the Great Mask of Depigmentation, which grant the user the ability to block surrounding objects' normal pigments caused by their being struck by light. This effect covers a given area dependant upon the willpower of the user and inevitably causes all objects to become colorless, thus inducing confusion in the mask user's opponents, whose armor will also become colorless. The wielder of a Kanohi Detyu can temporarily block these pigments, but does not destroy them and if the concentration of the user is shattered, then any pigments they were blocking will appear just as they normally would.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-ninteenth article proposed by Koji is as follows:

Koji hereby proposes that within the "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Dividos (DIH-vih-dohs), the Great Mask of Personality Division, which permit the user to split their own mind into as many as four distinct pieces, each incorporating a single trait, such as anger, rage, sorrow, etc., and that trait alone. Each of the pieces then takes on a representative form, that is dependant upon the original user's own thoughts, such as a Matoran, Toa, Vortixx, Rahi, and so on. The user is then split into the desired number of copies of themselves, each wearing a stylized Kanohi Dividos, and each with the desired body form. Minor armor differences are also possible and each of these copies has the single personality trait that the original user intended.

Unfortunately, the only way for the original user to reform is to convince the various pieces to agree to reform and then touch their four Kanohi together. As is imagined, this can become increasingly difficult depending upon the traits that were given to each of the pieces, as some may not want to rejoin, and others may be driven insane by the nature of their singular attribute. Thus this mask is both powerful and weak at the same time.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twentieth article proposed by Koji is as follows:

Koji hereby proposes that within the "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Sakan (SAY-kuhn), the Great Mask of Inversion, which allow the user to cast a temporary illusion, either on a group of targets, or on themselves and a specific target, which rewires their brains in an inversion spell. Their lefts become rights, ups become downs, etc. Throwing a right punch will cause them to strike with their left instead and everything changes, even how those affected see their opponent. For instance, if they see a threat approaching from the left, when they are actually on the right. Even wounds are inverted.

This is a powerful Kanohi, but very difficult to control. The only practical uses are against a large group, where the user has their own team outside of mask power range, or during one-on-one combat against a more skilled opponent. When used on a group of any sort, the mask produces a pulse, which quickly spreads from the Kanohi, and anyone nearby is rewired momentarily. Any time the field function is utilized, it will only last for a few minutes. On the other hand, when used on a single target, the brains of the user and opponent are both affected by the Sakan for roughly four times the duration of the broader pulse function.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-first article proposed by Koji is as follows:

Koji hereby proposes that within the "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Trard (TRAHRD), the Great Mask of Skill, which grant the user the ability to instantly acquire fighting prowess, as well as an increase in strength, speed, flexibility, agility, etc. All manners of the body associated with combat are improved, as well as knowledge of fighting styles.

This is a useful Kanohi for Matoran who have just become Toa, or for training any other beings who can use a Kanohi. The Trard doesn't need to be activated, but rather is always on at a low level.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-second article proposed by Tohunga Tahnok is as follows:

Tohunga Tahnok hereby proposes that within the "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exist Kanohi known as Xioth (SHI-ahth), the Great Mask of Catalysis, which permit the user to reverse, lessen, or speed up the effects of chemical and physical reactions occurring within their line of sight. However, the Kanohi Xioth cannot affect reactions necessary to life, and its' effects cease once the user loses sight of the target.

For example, if a being's armor was being destroyed by a corrosive substance, they could use the Kanohi Xioth to reverse its' effects, causing the metal to regenerate. Also, if a Xioth user were being held behind a metal door, they could speed up the process of oxidization, causing it to become brittle and eventually disintegrate.

Some Toa feel that the Kanohi Xioth is an immoral mask, while others disagree.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

And with that said, I open this thread up for discussion on the various articles for the proposed enhancement of our group structure and joint storyline.

Please be sure to vote on all seven articles in this thread.

Also, note that this discussion and the corresponding voting will end at 1200 PST (Noon in the Pacific Time Zone) on Monday, April 12th, 2010 provided at least 2/3 of C.I.R.C.L.E. members have voted at that point.

Lastly, the C.I.R.C.L.E. members will be notified of the results via the C.I.R.C.L.E. Results Overview & Discussion thread, however, when there are other blog threads where authors can vote on the proposals surrounding the details of C.I.R.C.L.E., that communication will still happen via PM.

Thanks.

190a: I remember a similar article that was vetoed last time around, and I'll vote aye once again.

195a: Undecided. Even with the limitations added I'm still a bit skeptical about this one.

218: Aye. An odd power but I can't see why it shouldn't be added.

219: Aye.

220: Aye.

221: Undecided. It seems a bit too much like a Calix, only better but worse in a few vague aspects. I'll think this one over.

222: Aye. Seems like a revised version of an older Kanohi proposal, and this one is far more reasonable.

Article 190- Aye.

Article 195- Aye

Article 218- Undecided. This power seems really out there. I mean, really.Aye

Article 219- Definately Aye. Split Personality disorder+physical form=AWESOME.

Article 220- Aye

Article 221- Nay. This seems exactly like a Kanohi Calix in all aspects.Aye

Article 222- Aye. I like this idea for a mask very much. It basically has the effects of a Catalyst, just without the substantial form.

190: Aye, Ausar explained it better below, which made me change my mind.

195: Aye, much better, I think

218-221: Aye, all of them are mine

222: Aye, I like this idea, and it doesn't seem overpowered

Nay to Article 190a. If the only thing it cannot handle are Nova Blast-level attacks, then there is hardly anything that can penetrate the force shield.

Aye to Article 195a

Aye to Article 218, although I can't understand why there needs to be such a mask. :P

Aye to Article 219. Sounds fun. :sly:

Aye to Article 220

Aye to Article 221. While the Calix allows the user to perform as if at peak natural physical condition, this Kanohi increases those aspects, as well as increases knowledge of fighting, so that is why I am voting 'AYE'.

Aye to Article 222

First, I vote "AYE" on Article 190a and admit that I'm perplexed by those who say it remains too powerful since the concept is based upon the Canon Ta-Matoran Balta's Repellers. I would appreciate it if you could elaborate on your issue with this proposal, Koji. In response to Zorrakh 's concern, I would like to point out that it clearly states that the prospective mask power works against standard energy and projectile attacks, not above-average attacks of those sorts, nor does it say anything about purely physical attacks, thus as far as I can tell there are plenty of things a Tryvehk couldn't block.

Next, I vote "AYE" on Article 195a, believing that all the previous concerns with this mask have been address. I'd be interested in hearing what reservations Cap'n K still has with this revised version?

Now, I vote "AYE" on Articles 218-220 as well, though all very strange in their own right, I see no reason to oppose them.

Meanwhile, I vote "AYE" on Article 221, and would like to point out that the Calix does not impart knowledge of any kind, and is therefore only vaguely related to the prospective Trard, which is specific to combat competency.

Lastly, I vote "AYE" on Article 222. I don't believe that it can fairly be compared to the previous Unri proposal, which proposed a mask power that actually changed the properties of objects in order to effect reactivity, because a prospective Xioth simply works on the present reactions, affecting only what is already within the user's line of sight.

190a: Aye, I accept the revisions.

195a: I voted Aye originally and I'm voting Aye again.

218: Interesting idea, but it seems almost useless. I guess I'll vote Aye anyway though.

219: I like the idea a lot; Aye.

220: Aye, another good idea.

221: Aye. I don't really like that it basically serves no purpose but to bypass training, but I'm okay with it.

222: Aye, good idea.

190a- AYE, no reason to oppose this'n.

195a- AYE, I don't know what the un-revised was, but this sounds useful.

218- AYE, odd, nonetheless.

219- AYE, interesting. Very odd, very strange, but interesting.

220- AYE.

221- AYE. This one sounds really useful. Does this go solely with hand-to-hand combat, or can projectiles be used? Or is that too close to a Sanok?

222- AYE.

190th- Nay. It seems too much like a Hau.

190a- Aye, very interesting, its like the ultimate shield =)

195a- Aye, it seems very powerful and incredibly useful at the same time.

218- Aye Very interesting, I would be very confused if everything became colorless.

219- Aye, very well thought out and explained. I hope its going to be the focus of a story or epic. It would be a very good one =)

220- Aye

221- I change this vote to AYE

222- Aye, very cool

190: Nay, it seems a little too much like a Hau and would really give the user an edge in...everything.

195: Aye

218: Aye

219: Aye, very interesting concept

220: Nay, this is just way too powerful for my tastes. I get that it's hard to control, but still.

221: Aye. It doesnt seem like it would be needed outside of matoran/Toa, so it seems alright.

222: Aye, barely.

"AYE" to Article 190a.

"AYE" to Article 195a. But I am curious, does the substance revert back to its original state of matter once the mask power has been turned off?

"AYE" to Article 218.

"AYE" to Article 219.

"AYE" to Article 220.

"AYE" to Article 221. Unlike a Calix, which allows the wearer to move at top physical performance, this increases the wearer's fighting ability.

"AYE" to Article 222.

190: Nay, it seems a little too much like a Hau and would really give the user an edge in...everything.

It's only vaguely like a Hau for reasons previously stated, such as, Reflection does nothing to prevent purely physical attacks.

For example, if an attacker swings a plain old axe, without the use of some sort of energy to their attack, then a prospective Tryvehk wearer that doesn't take evasive action would lose his head, where as a Hau wearer could generate Shielding to block the strike.

"AYE" to Article 195a. But I am curious, does the substance revert back to its original state of matter once the mask power has been turned off?[

Yes, without the power of the prospective Yyter, all substances would revert to their natural Matter State, just like Gravity returns to normal once a Garai is deactivated.

So, here's how I vote:

Article 190a: Aye. I'm liking this one because it seems like the natural counterpart to my own Kanohi Yovan (but elemental versus physical strikes). ;)

Article 195a: Aye.

Article 218: Aye.

Article 219: Aye.

Article 220: Aye.

Article 221: Aye.

Article 222: Aye.

All of these seem like interesting Kanohi mask powers. :)

Article 190a: Aye, basically, everything the Hau lacks put into a Kanohi, very useful.

Article 195a: Aye, I'm a little iffy on how weak it is, but I've always wanted a conversion mask like this, so I'll pass it.

Article 218: Nay, seems kind of pointless, as all you have to do to remove thew pigment from something is use a power over light to keep the color aspect of it from reflecting back, so it seems to me like a weakened Toa of Light.

Article 219: Aye, split personalities? I'm going to have fun with this one.

Article 220: Aye, sounds like a fun house, very creative. Kudos to you Koji for thinking of this.

Article 221: Nay, I love the idea, but I just prefer fighting prowess being found over a long period of time, or simply being bred into ones self.

Article 222: Aye
