A Simple Question

So, the place I've been planning to work at that I handed my application in at on Wednesday where I'm friends with the manager isn't hiring at the moment. He went to a meeting of the chain locations across the state last night though, so I may be getting a job at another one nearby.

If not though, how many of you would or know people who would be willing to pay $20-$30 for one hour guitar lessons via video chat? I'm fluent in Jazz, Blues, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Pop, and Instrumental Rock, am willing to teach both minor-intermediate theory, basic beginner lessons, chordings, and songs. I'm also more than happy to attempt to transpose video game music. I've gigged, played in four bands, formed two and subbed for one. Ask for more details.

(And just note this isn't a "Alright, let's commit to it now" thing, this is a "Let's gauge interest to see if it's worthwhile or not, don't expect pay demands or a guarantee of it happening if you say yes, nothing is solid, as it's just to gauge opinion and interest right now)

That is a great idea actually! Even if you get the other job I'd go for this.

It's relatively difficult to start new on any instrument and while I am ok with those few self-taught chords I bet there are a bunch of other people who like to learn more.

I don't see video lessons for instruments working especially well, especially with an instrument like the guitar were it relies so heavily on your hands.

People do it, though. My cousin for one teaches over video...
