Even though AVP is alright.

District 9 is pretty much my current favorite movie. More movies should be like it.

District 9 is awesome! I have the 2 disc set, it shows almost all what was used in the film. Wished more concepts though :/

AvP isn't that bad, really. It is a very good action film. I would give it a 8.5/10

Just don't watch the sequel.

I haven't seen the sequel, so I can't tell if it's bad or not, I'll leave that for ΩK.
