I had a good idea, but it sucked later...

 

Stupid Space invaders...

Sounds like a great idea, altough I imagine that it would be hard to pull off...

Maybe you could base them on the aliens in the game and build them in a more realistic spirit?

I tried the tank. Failed at it.

 

Yours is a better idea. I'll try that instead.

Good ideas for 80's stuff would be Predator, a 1987 film.

Actually, I haven't got my idea from anything fictional. It's a real thing. B)
