Once again I'd like to welcome everyone, now straight to more business.

The revised one-hundred-sixty-fifth article proposed by Ballom, Kohila, & Toa_Ausar is as follows:

Ballom, Kohila, & Toa_Ausar hereby propose that the consequence of "Probation" administered upon "TOA" Zee as a result of his violation of the "C.I.R.C.L.E. Participation Policy" be lifted.

As a result, his votes shall once again be counted as "5/5" of one tally, furthermore, all his other membership privileges shall return to normal at the time of this article's confirmation as well.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-third article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that exclusive to the planet of "Murtua" there resides an ancestral species to the Makuta known as "Aavistus" (AH-vih-stuhs).

The original designs were made by the Great Being Urvaeus, but were never implemented into the workings of the finalized Matoran Universe. Aavistus have the ability to amplify their power when another Aavistus is nearby, and the closer the two get, the stronger their power grows. Aavistus also have about thirty percent less Shadow than a Makuta.

While never appearing in the Matoran Universe, the Great Being Yzaa, who stole a copy of the Matoran Universe plans, created four Aavistus on the planet of Murtua. Due to certain circumstances, he never had a chance to create any more. The four known Aavistus are Contournes (cahn-TOOR-nehs), Jyriqal (jigh-RIH-cahl), Lurjas (LOOR-jahs), and Uskalta (ooh-SKAHL-tah).

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-fourth article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" several of the yet unnamed Great Beings shall henceforth be known as the following:
  • "Deccius" (deh-CIGH-us): One of the Great Beings responsible for the formation of the Element Lords and one of two Great Beings who created the planet of Murtua, along with the many species; such as Matoran, Toa, Turaga, Atreu, Agori, Glatorian, and Skrall; found thereon.
  • "Castius" (cass-TEE-uhs): The Great Being who created the Makers, along with the Kanohi Pauti and Kanohi Olisi, as well as being the creator of the Antidermis Pool.
  • "Urvaeus" (oor-VAY-uhs): The Great Being who designed the schematics for the Prototype Robot, Great Spirit Robot, and a third robot.
  • "Yzaa" (IGH-zah): The Great Being who came up with the idea to mechanize the Skopio species and give the Vorox stingers and one of two Great Beings who created the planet of Murtua, along with the many species; such as Skakdi, Vortixx, Makuta, Aavistus, Valkea, and the six Barraki species; found thereon.
Until such time as Canon names and/or creations are revealed.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-fifth article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there existed a faction of Toa known as the "Tavan" (TAH-vahn). The group formed shortly after the rebellion of the Toa Hagah and was dedicated to bringing down the Brotherhood of Makuta as payback for what happened to the Toa Hagah. The Tavan consisted of Toa of various elements, the majority being Toa of Magnetism or Iron, alongside decent-sized populations of Toa of Air, Plasma, and Gravity. The membership numbered less than two-hundred at its' peak, with the Toa that make up the organization scattered throughout the Matoran Universe. After stumbling upon the Brotherhood's "Project: Cytos Nui" (see Article 228 for details), about ten Toa from the Tavan began to head south toward the Isle of Cytos Nui, to see if their assistance would be required.

After the Brotherhood began slaying Toa of Iron and Magnetism throughout the Matoran Universe, a large percentage of the Tavan population was eliminated, and the remaining members split up into smaller teams that still exist today. The group’s leader, a Toa of Sonics named Hytec, died in a raid on the Isle of Destral, at which point Alara, the former Toa Savia of Lightning, took control until the bulk of the faction disbanded.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-sixth article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there resides an ancestral species to Krekka's known as the "Valkea" (vahl-KAY-uh).

The Valkea were initially intended to reside on the Isle of Stelt. They were large armored bruisers that had variable powers based on aspects of physics, were often a little over two-bio tall, and had great strength. Five Valkea were created for the Matoran Universe, but each one died of natural causes soon after their creation, resulting in the alternate selection of Krekka's species to assume their role in the Great Spirit Robot.

On the planet of Murtua, two Valkea were created by the Great Being Yzaa. As with the "Aavistus", certain circumstances prevented him from creating any more Valkea. The two Valkea of Murtua allied with the Aavistus and descended into a region known as the "Volcanic Underworld of Murtua".

These two living Valkea are "Veltava" (vehl-TAH-vah), whose abilities are based on the aspect of environmental disasters, and "Onettemous" (oh-NEH-the-muhs), whose abilities are based on kinetics and motion.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-seventh article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe", until such time as a Canon name is revealed, the Rahkshi of Heat Vision shall henceforth be identified as "Zirahk" (ZEER-rahk).

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

The two-hundred-twenty-eighth article proposed by Iro is as follows:

Iro hereby proposes that within "The C.I.R.C.L.E. Universe" there exists an secret operation by the Brotherhood of Makuta known as "Project: Cytos Nui" (PROJ-ekt SIGH-tohs NOO-ee).

The scheme began sometime around 300 Y.B.G.C. and involved the Makuta Antroz, Bitil, Icarax, Necros, and Veidas seeking to extract a treasure, known as the Ţevch, from the Southern Isle of Cytos Nui, so that it could be used by the Brotherhood.

The initial step in this undertaking was the employment of three pirates, jointly known as the "Quintaran" (kihn-TAHR-ahn) - "Ekmayor" (eck-my-YOHR), "Vecor" (VEHCK-ehr), and "Duos" (DOO-ohs) - who were supposed to start by harassing the inhabitants of Cytos Nui.

If things went well, then Veidas would come in and tell the Matoran that the Quintaran were merely after their treasure, and that she would take it, for the safety of the island and its' Matoran.

Unfortunately for the Brotherhood, things did not go well. The Quintaran became greedy and blocked Veidas' passage to the island, sinking her ships as they came close, so that they could in keep the Ţevch for themselves. Veidas herself had been severely weakened before the project started, and was not in fighting shape. Despite multiple attempts to get past the Quintaran's blockade, both Veidas and Necros failed to land on the Isle of Cytos Nui.

Antroz then suggested that the Brotherhood of Makuta rework their plans, ultimately using the Quintaran's blockade to their own advantage.

Now, feel free to discuss this proposal in this thread and then vote.

All in favor vote "AYE".

All opposed vote "NAY" with an explanation.

And with that said, I open this thread up for discussion on the various articles for the proposed enhancement of our group structure and joint storyline.

Please be sure to vote on all seven articles in this thread.

Also, note that this discussion and the corresponding voting will end at 1200 PST (Noon in the Pacific Time Zone) on Monday, June 7th, 2010 provided at least 2/3 of C.I.R.C.L.E. members have voted at that point.

Lastly, the C.I.R.C.L.E. members will be notified of the results via the C.I.R.C.L.E. Results Overview & Discussion thread, however, when there are other blog threads where authors can vote on the proposals surrounding the details of C.I.R.C.L.E., that communication will still happen via PM.

Thanks.

Here's how I vote. In particular, I feel that in Article 165a, it's about time Zee's probation was lifted.

Article 165a: Aye.

Article 223: Aye.

Article 224: Aye.

Article 225: Aye.

Article 226: Aye.

Article 227: Aye.

Article 228: Aye.

And Iro's certainly cranking out a lot of them, isn't he? :P

165: Aye, sure, let it be lifted. It probably deserves to by now.

223: Aye, good idea.

224: Aye, I like the names.

225: Aye, I like this idea.

226: Aye, no problem.

227: Aye. Isn't this the proposed name from Bink?

228: Aye, no problem.

165a- AYE.

223- AYE

224- AYE. I don't think we'll ever get more names for the Great Beings, so these work.

225- AYE. This works nicely, and shows that the entire population wasn't blind after what happened to the Hagah.

226- AYE

227- AYE, I believe this name was also thrown around in canon.

228- AYE.

Aye to all of them. I dont think there's anything wrong with them. In addition, Zee's had enough time to think things through

165a: Aye.

223: Aye, no problem with this.

224: Aye, though if we do get some more Great Beings named, having to retcon this might be annoying.

225: Aye, it makes sense that there would have been some kind of organized force standing against the Brotherhood.

226: Aye, no problem with this.

227: Aye, that's a cool name.

228: Aye, no problem with this and it seems likely that Iro's stories depend on it.

Article 165: Aye.

Article 223: Aye. I'd like to correct a small typo [correction in italics]: "Aavistus have the ability to amplify their power when another Aavistus is nearby..."

Article 224: Aye. I actually believe that the only Great Being that might be named officially in the future is the insane one on Bota Magna with Lewa and Vezon and them.

Article 225: Aye; need it to exist for future epics in the MU.

Article 226: Aye.

Article 227: Aye. Yes, it was Bink's proposed name. I use these guys quite a bit and grew tired of referring to them as "Rahkshi of Heat Vision" or "yellow Rahkshi," so when I heard of this name, I started using it.

Article 228: Aye; it's one of the main focuses in A Perfect Circle.

On another note, I didn't think that I'd be the only one sending in articles this time around. Huh, it's kinda' weird seeing all but one of these with my name on it. =P

165a: Aye. If he's back, he should have "Probation" removed.

223: Sounds much like the Bahrang; I loved them! =D Aye.

224: Aye; those high-up guys need names, too.

225: Revenge is bittersweet; Aye.

226: Physics monsters?! I can't say Aye fast enough.

227: Aye.

228: Aye.

165: Aye.

223: Aye.

224: Aye. All of the creations actually seem to give some characterization to each of the Great Beings.

225: Aye.

226: Aye, I see nothing wrong with it.

227: YES. YES. YE-- er, I mean, "Aye".

228: Aye, seems necessary for an epic and there's nothing I see wrong with it.

Aye to Article 223. I don't have any problem with it and I kind of like the idea.

Aye to Article 224. I don't have any problem with it.

Aye to Article 225. I don't have any problem with it. Iro, I actually might want to have one or two members be in my epic, if that's alright with you. We can talk via PM.

Aye to Article 226. I have no problem with it.

Aye to Article 227. I have no problem with it. Maybe the C.I.R.C.L.E. should create the names of the rest of the Rahkshi variations until there are canon ones for them.

Aye to Article 228. I have no problem with it.

First, I vote "AYE" on Article 165a. Welcome back Zee. :D

Next, I vote "AYE" on Articles 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, & 228 as well. The two ancestral species are well thought out, the Great Beings' names and actions are interesting, the proposed name for the Rahkshi of Heat Vision works, and I see no reason to oppose either the proposed "Tavan" nor "Project: Cytos Nui".

"AYE" to Article 223.

"AYE" to Article 224.

"AYE" to Article 225. Though it does seem a little odd that that many Toa would dedicate themselves to revenge.
