Great Colony 5 Idea

now, i need on opinion with this. if the general agreemen"yes", i'll proobably handle most of it.

 

 

now, going to have a colony return home requires a lot of space. one starship, carrying all those colonists? unrealistic.

 

 

now, there ARE, however, evacuation ships (or something along those lines) in existance. What if, the Nova-class ship is just the head of a small fleet? what if, we make it like DS9, in the sense where we have a load of characters that aren't main characters, but reacur a lot? each ship would have, like, 4 characters: a captain, a first officer, a navigater, and a helmsman. whenever more crew is needed, they would be called from the nova-class ship.

 

now, my idea is to have maybe an extra 5-6 ships. What does everyone think?

Except, I don't know if a Nova class ship should be the head of a fleet... it's a small science vessel.

 

Perhaps the Nova is sent ahead to make contact with the colony? (So it would leave the fleet at the end of "Season 1", and then maybe the fleet would join up with it at the end of "Season 4"?)

Good idea. Maybe the flagship could a Star Cruiser, like an Avenger, which are supposed to be used for that.

What's an Avenger? And, for that matter, what's a Star Cruiser? Memory Beta turns up nothing- well, there's an Avenger class in the 23rd century that's a scout ship, but that's it.

Don't use Memory Beta- Memory Alpha has all the canon stuff; Beta's full of non-canon stuff from the novels and whatnot.

 

I think that Momotaro is referring to something from Star Trek Online, which is really cool but not even demi-canon, so it wouldn't even make Beta.
