Taka Writes Love Stories Wut?!

... for English homework, of course. But I was forced to do it

262 words about a splitup because of a song we listened to during class... well, at least I had a chance to use some expressions I wouldn't have, otherwise :P

Forced writing is always the most frustrating, since the subject is taken from someone else's mind, which is a splendid reason for oneself not to understand it in the original way. So, is 262 a maximum or a minimum?

Maximum :(

Actually, the maximum was 250 words... I don't get it. B'cause, when the teachers says 250 words, then the text should be about 250 words long, and it's not good to make it much longer or shorter. ><

but love stories are so lovely!

Not if the writer don´t find the plot lovely (and I suppose the plot would be taken from the aformentioned song's lyrics...? =/ )

That said, I´d still like to read it, if it´s no inconvinience (only if it really isn´t, of course - I understand if you might want not to share something you didn´t even want to write globally on the internet).

The few sentences one can put into 262 words can´t possibly take up enough time to waste any of it, anyway. :)

It depends on the writing too, for once in my life i had a Baseline Writing Assessement that i actually COULD write about. Granted, our prompts were always vague, but they gave us pictures to write about. This time, i got one word.

"Hero"

And so i wrote up some massive story about Demons attacking peoples and their leader being a hero in one dude's eye and stuff. Still a cruddy story, but hey, i had fun for once...

Now, to find my English Teacher that Draft of Answers and Questions...

Hm... I actually don't care much about love stories. And most of the time I don't really find them interesting, especially if it's only about love.

If love just... happens within a bigger story, then I'm fine with it.

I won't post it in my blog, but I could pm it to you :)

I hate forced writing.

Which pretty much means another reason why I hate school.

Well, me too (kinda). Sometimes there are nice topics, though, and the I dom't mind ^^

I´ll let that be your decision - it´s your story, after all. :)

I recently had an essay like that, too; except we were each supposed to make up a setting, a time and a protagonist, then scatter them randomly around each other so that we´d each end up with one of each. Eventually I ended up having write a story about My Sister Lullasia, taking place in 1995 and At A Construction Site. That was actually quite fun.
