Is it unnatural that my first instinct is to go edit the wiki instead of actually playing?

Not at all.

The new item's still don't have pages. How else am I going to learn all about them?

Store isn't up. It broke all of my custom skins and models. Problems connecting to the steam server, thus making my back back unavailable. Paying for bonus stuff. Obtaining the cheater's lament despite using steam stats. hl2.exe is not responding.

I'll wait a few days for everything to sort itself out
