Also I was a Jr. kid growing up. I know so was half the country, but it was more so for me being -in- the state he did what he did.

 

Saddest days for me: When he left for Cincy, and when he retired as a Mariner.

Yeah, I remember him best as a Red, since that's where he was when I started following baseball, and because the Reds are in the Cubs' division.
