So. There's going to be a Star Wars Episode VII and it's going to be made by Disney.
From what I've seen of the reactions so far, some people are excited for it, some people aren't, and some people are reserving judgment until we know more.
I'm in the latter camp 'cause we really don't know anything about it at this point (I'm pretty sure we don't, anyway). Probably will see it when it comes out, even if it's bad. Star Wars is Star Wars even when it's bad (except for the Holiday Special. We never talk about the Holiday Special).

But yeah, Star Wars is Star Wars. That's one of the reasons why I don't hate the prequel trilogy. I mean, it still had a lot of the same structure and storytelling style of the original trilogy and some of the older moviemaking tactics which inspired the franchise in the first place. I just hope that Disney respects that with the six movies made so far, the series has proven to be very consistent with its style and it shouldn't be meddled with.
