Why do you have to tweet some the dirtiest stuff I've read? Seeing you people on twitter has changed my view of you people.

A lot of people behave somewhat differently here due to the nature of the community.

I respect that people voluntarily do that, actually. It shows they're willing to respect the site's regulations.

I do as well, but I would respect them more if it was not just because of rules that they did that.

Of course, I'm not on Twitter, so I can only guess what he's referring to. I just know how I feel in general about it.

Who said I was? I'm asking a legimate question. I'm just shocked to see people on BZP act way differently on Twitter. Though I will admit I do sound like I'm complaining.

also, honestly, why be shocked?

BZPower is a fairly large website made up of different people from all over the world with different personalities and different beliefs and different standards

not sure what people are like around where you live, but obvs not everybody in the world is going to live up to your superior moral standards and when you're associating with people who come from such a diverse website, you're certainly going to find that a lot of them are like that.

I'm only shocked because I'm so used to seeing people on BZP act a certain way, that when I see them act differently I get shocked. And I know you're going to say that's stupid of me, probably is, but all I'm saying is that seeing admins curse is something new to me (except when McSmeag does it, I was not surprised when he said dirty stuff).

(Speaking as someone with a newly acquired Twitter account (Though not a staffie, who you were indicating), yes I do use far cruder language on it than I would in BZPower but that doesn't make me any worse a person for it. Usually when I do so it's to emphasise my emotions (Most likely rage or confusion) about the topic of the day. I don't do it constantly because otherwise I'd look quite the fool, but it's not unheard of and when there's a better option I'll take it. And obviously you won't see me swearing on BZPower because it's physically impossible. The filters won't let me.)

(...Not that I need them. It is a kiddy site after all so I don't try to include a curse into every second blog entry.)

I tend to use coarse language on other sites when I can and when I feel it's necessary.

The reason I don't use it on BZPower (aside from the rules) is that BZP was the first website where I became a member. I could never tarnish it.
